Community Rules

1. Community Respect and Responsibility

Follow the Golden Rule: treat others as you want to be treated. Be a responsible member of the community and have appropriate behavior in game and in chat. We ask players to communicate in English in the main chat but you may use /msg to communicate directly with other players.

• Be polite and show respect towards others. Minecraft is a game that should be fun. Use of slurs, derogatory terms, bullying, or otherwise disrespectful behavior is NOT tolerated.

• No spamming or flooding chat. Do not use excessively use caps or repeat messages. No trolling.

• Do not impersonate anyone or staff. Don't harass other player, ask very personal questions, or be a creep.

• Do not ask or beg for items, ranks, or any other benefit.

• Drama, drugs, politics, and religious topics are not allowed in chat.

• Do not advertise other servers, websites, social media accounts, or other goods and services.

• Limited swearing is allowed, but keep the chat friendly and harmless for all players and use avoid "serious" cusses. Do not talk or joke about self-harm.

While not required, it's nice to welcome other players in the chat when they join the server ☺️

Do not argue with or harass staff. These rules may change at any time and staff members may use their own judgement when moderating the game.

2. Grief, Theft, and Claiming Land

Do not grief or steal items from other players. Grief can be considered any construction or deconstruction that is meant to irritate, anger, or annoy someone or if it was done without their permission. To help prevent grief, you can claim land around your builds.

• Do not build within 100 blocks of another player's base or land claim without their permission. There may be exceptions for towns or districts, but ask the owners.

• Do not take any items from a chest, furnace, shulker, or other container without asking for permission from the owner. Do not take any items or use farms unless they are labeled as "free", "community chest", "public", or otherwise clearly marked.

• Do not build any structures that are sexual or offensive.

• Do not claim extreme amounts of land unless you will use it. You may lose claimed land that is considered excessive by staff.

3. Mods, Exploits, and Cheating

Cheating is not allowed. Any modifications to the game or resource packs that give players an unfair advantage are not allowed, including x-ray texture packs.

• Do not take advantages of exploits or dupe unless explicitly mentioned as allowed. Please report any exploits with the game or plugins to a staff member.

• Modded clients can give you an unfair advantage. Auto-building tools or easy place mode for schematics are not allowed. Players are allowed to use these mods or equivalents:

  • Optifine, Sodium, and Lithium

  • Xaero's Minimap

  • Litematica and Schematica (do not use any easy-build or auto-place features)

  • Fullbright

  • ReplayMod or Flashback (do not use for "spectator mode")

  • Minecraft F3 + T in private farms (do not use any other scripts, macros, or auto-clickers)

• Do not attempt to evade punishments or use alt accounts.

If you think something might not be allowed, just don't do it. You can also ask a staff member if you're unsure.

4. World Preservation

When a world is meant to last forever, everyone needs to work together to keep it well preserved and something to be proud of.

• Always use the resource worlds if you need to collect large quantities of materials, such as sand. The resource worlds may be reset at any time and should not be used to build bases. 

• Collect resources responsibly. Replant trees when possible and avoid strip mining, especially near other players. Don't destroy trial chambers, but you can loot them.

• Ensure your Nether portals link correctly and do not interfere with other players.

• Any roads, rails, or tunnels should be safe and accessible not obstruct the landscape or other player's builds.

• Inactive players may lose their shops and land protection after 90 days.

When in doubt or if you have a question, ask a staff member.

Staff members may use their own judgement when moderating the game.
